Sehr abgewohnt, schlechte Luft, sehr schlechte Lärmdämmung

As a professor of sciences I selected your hotel for the fact that there is a free internet service that would allow me to work, prepare lectures, etc. The internet worked for hardly one day and failed. There was no internet for the whole week of my stay. I had to go the McDonalds to write papers, can you see that absurd. I know that computer service can break down but it should be back in order in a day or two. The receptionists were helpless and I guess some supervisor should have been involved in pressing the resumption of the service properly. There was also no offer for a compensation (I of course did not ask for any), but the hotel could have at least cancel the exstra charges, such as breakfast, etc. If had had known that this will be the situation, I would not have selected your hotel. Your other hotel in Vienna which did have a proper internet service, was fully booked, otherwise, I would have preferred to move to it. The room itself was fine and clean.

Kleine Geschichte: Die Glühbirne einer der zwei Nachttischlampen war defekt. Ich schraubte die Birne aus, und legte sie auf den Nachttisch; sie wurde nicht ersetzt. Am nächsten Morgen legte ich die Birne auf das Bett; sie wurde mitgenommen, jedoch wieder nicht ersetzt :-)

the list of items in the room's mini bar included "Baccardi" which was not in the minibar at all. WE called the reception about this becouse we did not want to be responsible for payment but they seemed to be clueless & asked me "did I take it". I believe the hotel personnel should check the minibar against the list daily as if we did not notice the missing item we would no doubt be charged for it.

Das Zimmer, in dem wir übernachtet haben, müsste mal renoviert werden. Der W-Lan-Empfang im Zimmer funktionierte nur eingeschränkt.
